Get Involved with EDUCAUSE!Do you want to be more involved with EDUCAUSE and your peers in higher education IT? Use your skills and knowledge beyond your campus? Contribute to helping other IT professionals like yourself? Have an impact upon your profession? What Opportunities Are Available?Informal OpportunitiesEngage throughout the year on a project-by-project basis in various activities, such as contributing content, sharing your opinions, participating in task forces and virtual communities, convening conference sessions, and microblogging. Formal OpportunitiesAdvisory Committee Member Serve a one-to-three-year term on one of the EDUCAUSE Advisory Committees. Advisory Committees contribute to special activities and guide association directions in selected areas of professional practice and policy. Appointments are made in early summer, following a spring call for volunteers. Program Committee Member Serve a one-year term on one of the EDUCAUSE Program Committees. Program Committees develop themes, organization, and content for specific conferences. Appointments are made throughout the year.
