EDUCAUSE 2008 will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Due to the proximity of EDUCAUSE 2008, online hotel reservations are CLOSED. Please contact the hotels directly for all reservation inquiries, including cancellations or changes in reservations. Please Note: If you are making a change or canceling an existing reservation, please do not call the hotel until Tuesday, October 14, to allow for data download completion. The hotel will not have your reservation in its system before then.

If you have not secured a hotel room for EDUCAUSE 2008, you have two options below.

Option #1

We have reserved a room block for $128 single or double occupancy, plus taxes over the dates of Saturday, October 25 through Saturday, November 1, at the following hotel. This hotel will be serviced by the conference shuttle.

Option #2

If neither the Wyndham nor any of the hotels below has availability, you may also search for lodging on the Orlando/Orange County Convention and Visitors Bureau web site. (Only the hotels below are on the conference hotel shuttle schedule.)

Please note, only the hotels that indicate "served by the conference shuttle" will be on the EDUCAUSE shuttle routes.

Conference Shuttle Service

Shuttle service will be available for the EDUCAUSE 2008 conference hotels listed above. Shuttles run from the listed hotels to the Orange County Convention Center. Note that for the Thursday night party at Universal CityWalk the shuttles will depart from all hotels listed above, including the walking hotels.

Air Travel

Travel into Orlando is served by the Orlando International Airport. We strongly recommended that you contact the airlines directly 24 hours prior to departure to confirm details or changes.

Discounted Ground Transportation from Orlando International Airport

To assist you with your travel planning, we have arranged a Mears Transportation discount for all conference attendees. Please download and print out a Mears Transportation discount coupon. You must present this coupon at one of the Mears Transportation counters on arrival at Orlando International Airport to receive the discount.

Advance reservations are recommended for travel from the airport to the conference hotels. Return reservations should be made at least one day prior to your departure by calling the reservations phone number printed on your round trip ticket.
