 Tuesday, October 28: 4 to 7 p.m. 
Wednesday, October 29: 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 
Thursday, October 30: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

2.I want to locate exhibitors with certain products and services that I am interested in how can I do this?

3.When will I receive my exhibitor kit, and is it in paper format or electronic format?
 The EDUCAUSE 2008 exhibitor kit is on the "Corporate Resources" page, http://net.educause.edu/e08/CorporateParticipation/14659. A timeline with due dates for all suppliers including EDUCAUSE, Freeman Decorating, and the Orange County Convention Center, is included and all forms are electronic.

6.As an exhibitor, how many registrations do I get with my booth?
 Each 10'x10' space comes with 4 exhibitor registrations. Exhibitor registration includes entrance into the exhibit hall.

8.Can I get e-mail addresses to promote my company's presence? Can I do a mailing?
 No e-mail/electronic solicitations or announcements referencing the conference that use EDUCAUSE-sourced contact information may be sent to attendees before or after the conference. Neither the online list of attendees nor the EDUCAUSE membership directory may be used as contact sources for electronic communications about commercial products and services. 
 
To promote your participation, each exhibiting company is entitled to one EDUCAUSE attendee list including the most current list of pre registered attendees for a U.S. mailing. Your promotional piece must be pre approved by EDUCAUSE, with a due date of September 28. Upon approval, we will e-mail you the appropriate text file. 9.How does EDUCAUSE allocate booth space for this conference?
 Corporate participation, including exhibit booth assignments for the EDUCAUSE Annual Conference, is based on a pecking order of participation with EDUCAUSE overall. Activity of EDUCAUSE members is tracked and sorted from high to low and then we assign booth, presentation and workshop space, as requested. (Activity includes participation in EDUCAUSE conferences throughout the year and advertising in EDUCAUSE Review.)  
Members are always assigned booth space before non-members.

10.How can my company obtain a presentation?
 There are a total of 20 corporate presentations at EDUCAUSE 2008. Presentations are allocated to corporations requesting one, in the same way the booth space is. Activity of EDUCAUSE members is tracked and sorted from high to low and then we assign booth, presentation and workshop space, as requested. (Activity includes participation in EDUCAUSE conferences throughout the year and advertising in EDUCAUSE Review.)  
 
The EDUCAUSE Annual Conference does have a call for proposals, but does not include corporations. This is open to institutions only.

11.Can my company conduct a meeting, a focus session, or an event, during EDUCAUSE hours?
 The answer is no. EDUCAUSE prohibits Exhibitors to plan ancillary meetings or events that conflict in any way with the EDUCAUSE conference program. This includes all EDUCAUSE conferences and special events.

12.Does EDUCAUSE have other conferences that include corporate participation?
 Yes, EDUCAUSE has nine other conferences throughout the year that include corporate participation. Unlike the EDUCAUSE Annual Conference, participation for these is on a first come, first served basis and the listing can be found at:

13.How can I see who is exhibiting next to my company's booth?
 The corporate participation link of the EDUCAUSE 2008 Web site includes an interactive floorplan. If you mouse over a booth, it will pop up the name of the exhibitor. The interactive floorplan can be found at:

14.Can I host food in my booth?
 No food and beverage is allowed in exhibit booths in general. 
 
The EDUCAUSE opening reception, on October 28th, from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. provides an opportunity to have food in your booth. As a sponsor, EDUCAUSE will choose menus and provide servers, so that food is served from your booth, while you network with clients. This event is highly promoted and promises more booth traffic for your company. If you would like to sign up to sponsor this event, please contact corp@educause.edu.

15.What type of marketing opportunities does EDUCAUSE have to ensure more visibility for my company?
 In addition to the exhibit hall, EDUCAUSE has several sponsorships that promise recognition and benefit. The sponsorship listing can be found at:

Other opportunities include: 
 
**Hang your banner in the exhibit hall. This opportunity is in the exhibitor kit, reasonably priced, and your company's banner will be hung over the lunch area in the back of the exhibit hall. 
 
**Pre-conference mailing. Each exhibiting company is allowed a one time mailing to promote their presence via direct mail. Your promotional piece must be pre-approved by EDUCAUSE.  
 
**Exhibited products and services. The exhibit hall guide form (in the exhibitor kit) will enter your company's information into an online guide of exhibitors and their products and services for attendee use.

16.If I would like to cancel my participation, what, if any, are the cancellation penalties?
 EDUCAUSE requires written notification should your company plan to cancel. The cancellation policy for EDUCAUSE 2008 is: 
 
February 2 - May 31, 2008 - 50% of participation fee is non-refundable 
June 1 - July 31, 2008 - 75% of participation fee is non-refundable 
On or after August 1 - 100% of participation fee is non-refundable

17.How does an exhibitor collect attendee leads on site?
 EDUCAUSE offers lead retrieval through ITN International (bCard). To order lead retrieval, please find the form is in the EDUCAUSE 2008 online exhibitor kit at:

18.How many people are expected to attend?
 The EDUCAUSE Annual Conference attracts over 4,000 attendees annually, the majority of whom come from the U.S. and Canada, although more than 30 countries are typically represented. In addition, over 200 corporations providing technology solutions to higher education are represented in the exhibit hall.

19.When and where will EDUCAUSE 2009 take place, and when can I sign up for it?
 EDUCAUSE 2009 will take place, November 3-6, 2009, in Denver, Colorado 
Participation for the EDUCAUSE 2009 is not open enrollment, first come, first served. Corporate participation, including exhibit booth assignments for the EDUCAUSE Annual Conference, is based on a pecking order of participation with EDUCAUSE overall. Activity of EDUCAUSE members is tracked and sorted from high to low and then we assign booth, presentation and workshop space, as requested. (Activity includes participation in EDUCAUSE conferences and advertising in EDUCAUSE Review.) Members always get booth space before non-members.  
 
 
A PDF will be sent to members and those companies formally participating in EDUCAUSE 2008 to sign up for EDUCAUSE 2009, in October. EDUCAUSE representatives will then meet with companies on site to collect these forms as well, if not faxed in advance. In December booth space is assigned based on the pecking order described above.

20.What does my exhibitor registration include? Can I go to sessions? Functions?
 Exhibitor registration includes entrance into the exhibit hall and refreshment breaks in the hall. Should you want to attend sessions or functions, you must register as a full conference attendee.
