4.Will my Web browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape) work correctly when I use the new PassKey system for hotel reservations?
PassKey has identified several browsers that are not compatible with their system at this time. All browsers with a version later than 3.0 will be able to reserve hotel rooms using the system, but there may be bugs. These are defined below, and the user will be warned of them again before entering the hotel reservation system.

Netscape 6.0 or above for Mac:
- The Passkey hotel reservation system uses a Java-based map to display available hotels and their proximity to the conference site. This map is not available to users of Netscape 6.0 or above for Mac. Error messages may appear when entering the program but if you click "OK" through the messages, the Passkey system should appear. You may continue with your hotel reservation, but be aware that the map will not be available to you.

Netscape 3.x and below, Internet Explorer 3.x and below:
- These browsers do not have the security needed to access the PassKey site. Either upgrade your browser or contact EDUCAUSE Member Services for an alternate solution at info@educause.edu or (303) 449-4430.

These issues should not affect your ability to reserve your hotel room.

5.What hotels are available for the EDUCAUSE 2008 conference?

To book your hotel room you must first register for the conference and then access the online hotel reservation system.

6.We are a corporation with a booth in the exhibit hall. At this time we don’t know who will be attending EDUCAUSE 2008 but want to reserve our rooms now. How can we do this?
You need to register each individual for the conference and then make the hotel reservation for that person. If at a later date this person is unable to attend, you can either transfer their conference registration to another staff member or cancel their registration completely. You will need to change the room reservation to the new person’s name or cancel the reservation.

7.If I cancel my registration is my hotel room automatically canceled, and vice versa?
No, these are independent of each other, and you need to cancel each separately.
