Important schedule change for EDUCAUSE 2006! This year, the conference will begin on Monday. Plan now to attend preconference seminars and opening in the exhibit hall Monday, October 9 and the full conference program Tuesday through Thursday, October 10–12.!
Preregistration (online, phone, fax, e-mail, etc.) for the EDUCAUSE 2006 conference is closed. If you are planning to attend, you can register on site at the Dallas Convention Center beginning on October 8.

Conference Schedule
To assist you with budget and travel planning, the registration fees and a brief schedule of events for EDUCAUSE 2006 are listed below.
For travel planning purposes, preconference activities begin on Monday, October 9, with the preconference seminars (please note: all preconference seminars require separate payment and registration). The first full conference activity is the opening of the exhibit hall on Monday. The main conference opens Tuesday, October 10, at 8:00 a.m. with the general session. The conference will close on Thursday, October 12 with the general session featuring Dr. Georgia Nugent, President, Kenyon College which will end at approximately 11:30 a.m.

*Registration fee includes:
- attendance at all educational activities, Tuesday—Thursday
- entrance to the exhibit hall, Monday—Wednesday
- lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday
- refreshment breaks, Monday—Thursday
- special conference event Wednesday evening
**You must register and pay an additional fee for preconference seminars that will take place on Monday, October 9.
***Exhibit hall staff registering on site will be subject to a $25 charge.
Payment and Cancellation Policies
Payment for the full amount of the registration fee must be made by the first day of the conference. You may pay by credit card or supply a purchase order number along with a credit card guarantee payment. A purchase order does not constitute payment, and all outstanding purchase orders must be satisfied either by check or credit card before the first day of the conference. A credit card used as a guarantee will not be charged without prior notification. Due to limited space in the preconference seminars, we cannot ensure your space until we have received payment.
Cancellations postmarked or received on or before August 14, 2006 are entitled to a full refund. Cancellations received between August 15 and September 12, 2006, are entitled to a refund minus a $100 processing fee for conference registrations and a $50 processing fee for preconference seminar registrations. If you cancel after September 12, 2006, you will receive no refund. If you have not paid by another means, your credit card will be charged the cost of registration. The card will not be charged until you have been notified of the charge.

Registration Lists
Registration lists are provided as a service for conference attendees, offering a convenient way to network with colleagues. The data provided in these lists may not be harvested, sold to others, incorporated into any type of database, used to generate mailing lists, or employed for any promotional purpose.
Audio/Videotaping, Digital Recording, and Photography
Because all presentations and associated materials are the speakers’ intellectual property, please obtain the speakers' permission to record their session or activity in any medium. Recording for commercial purposes is allowed only with prior permission from both EDUCAUSE and the speakers. EDUCAUSE reserves the right to ask any attendee to move within or to leave a session venue if their use of technology is disruptive to speakers or other attendees. Note that by attending the conference, attendees have agreed to the terms of the EDUCAUSE Image/Audio/Video Release Form, which allows images, audio, and video recorded on site to be used for educational and promotional purposes.
