Important schedule change for EDUCAUSE 2006! This year the conference will begin on Monday, October 9, and end on Thursday, October 12-this is one day earlier than previous years. Please be sure to book your hotel room accordingly!
EDUCAUSE 2006 will be held at the Dallas Convention Center in Dallas, Texas. Information about Dallas is available through their Web site. Like Texas itself, the center is big and spread out. Because you'll cover lots of ground between sessions, we recommend you wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
Hotels
Due to the proximity of EDUCAUSE 2006, online hotel reservations are CLOSED and all inquiries should be directed to the hotels. Please contact the hotels directly for all reservation inquiries, including cancellations or change in reservations. Please Note: If you are making a change or canceling an existing reservation, please do not call the hotel until Thursday, September 21 to allow for data download completion. The hotel will not have your reservation in their system until the download is complete.

Conference Shuttle Service
Shuttle service [PDF 97 KB] will be available from all EDUCAUSE 2006 conference hotels to the Dallas Convention Center. While all precautions are taken to ensure the safety of conference participants, you should be aware that the center is in a downtown urban area. We strongly recommend you take the free shuttle to and from your hotel and the center, instead of walking.
Air Travel
Travel into Dallas is served by the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport or Dallas Love Field . We strongly recommended that you contact the airlines directly 24 hours prior to departure to confirm details or changes.

Discounted Ground Transportation from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport or Dallas Love Field Airport

You must present this coupon at one of the SuperShuttle counters on arrival at either airport to receive the discount.

Advance reservations are recommended for travel from the airport to the conference hotels. Dallas Convention Center Parking Information
All conference hotels will be serviced by the conference shuttle; however, if you need to park at the Dallas Convention Center during EDUCAUSE 2006, please see the information below.
