EDUCAUSE Mid–Atlantic Regional Conference 2010

Connect. Collaborate. Contribute.

Whether your focus is administrative services, information resources, teaching and learning, technology infrastructure, or management, you can benefit from attending the Ninth Annual EDUCAUSE Mid–Atlantic Regional Conference, January 13–15, 2010. Join us at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel to:

  • Connect with innovators and forward thinkers and learn about current and emerging best practices in higher education information services.
  • Collaborate with others in positions similar to yours to exchange experiences and explore ways to tackle common challenges.
  • Contribute your uncommon thinking for the common good in numerous discussion sessions and networking venues.

This year's conference, "Opportunity in Adversity," will pay special attention to the broader economic climate, which has adversely impacted institutions of higher education. Paradoxically, the most innovative, creative, and deeply transformational insights—"uncommon thinking for the common good"—can emerge from challenging circumstances. This conference will highlight uncommon thinking as a way to generate revolutionary ideas that change how we conceive of our work as well as practical solutions that allow us to work efficiently in tough times. By combining the revolutionary and the practical, this conference will help you turn adversity into opportunity and transform obstacles into stepping stones to the future on your campus.

Preconference seminars begin the morning of January 13, with the full conference program January 13–15, 2010. The program follows five key tracks:

  • E–Research and E–Scholarship
  • Leadership and Management
  • Managing the Enterprise
  • Teaching and Learning
  • Corporate and Campus Solutions

Make the most of your visit to Baltimore. The Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel is conveniently located a short walk or water taxi ride from a variety of local attractions and restaurants.
