Abstract

Podcasting and vodcasting technologies have opened new doors for online faculty who are now teaching more effectively and noting higher levels of student satisfaction at Northwest College. This presentation will provide examples of podcasts (created with freeware and cell phones/microphones)and vodcasts (which incorporate electronic whiteboards, handhelds, and other technologies). The audience will be presented with curricular recommendations based on lessons learned and a "getting started" handout. This session is interactive, so bring your questions and discover how to bring your online course content to life.
