Abstract

The Horizon Report picks six technologies likely to have an impact on higher education with horizons of a year or less, two to three years, and four to five years. The 2008 list: grassroots video, collaboration webs, mobile broadband, data mashups, collective intelligence, and social operating systems (see http://wp.nmc.org/horizon2008/). How do we strategically plan for their appropriate use and support? Bring your questions, experiences, and ideas to this thoughtful conversation that will help us map our way into the future.
