Abstract

Project management is typically viewed as a methodology for introducing rigor, cost and schedule control, and reporting mechanisms into large, complex activities. It should be viewed as an important tool not only for managing and motivating people but also for achieving strategic objectives. This highly interactive session will introduce the basics of good project management and focus on best practices, critical success factors, links to strategic management, and cultural change.
