AbstractRecognized strategies for addressing illegal peer-to-peer file sharing by students include education and awareness, policies and enforcement, network management, and legal alternatives. This session will discuss current P2P challenges, opportunities, effective practices, and resources, including approaches to negotiating with online media companies to provide students with a legal alternative for downloading songs and movies. |
