What Opportunities Are Available?

Informal Opportunities

Engage throughout the year on a project-by-project basis in various activities, such as contributing content, advising on research studies, sharing your opinions, identifying hot topics, participating in task forces and virtual communities, convening conference sessions, and microblogging.

Formal Opportunities

Advisory Committee Member – Serve a one-to-three-year term on one of the EDUCAUSE Advisory Committees. Advisory Committees contribute to special activities and guide association directions in selected areas of professional practice and policy. Appointments are made in early summer, following a spring call for volunteers. Now accepting 2012-2013 applications. Submission window closes June 1, 2012.

Program Committee Member – Serve a one-year term on one of the EDUCAUSE Program Committees. Program Committees develop themes, organization, and content for specific conferences. Appointments are made throughout the year.
