University Executive Seminar SessionsTable Exercise #1: Issue Identification and AssessmentSaturday, August 04, 2001 Each table will represent an actual management challenge identified from the pre-seminar materials submitted by participants. Seminar participants and speakers will have self-selected the table/challenge they want to work on. One participant will represent the "client" who has the challenge to be addressed at each table and the others at the table will represent the "consultants" engaged to assist in its solution. During this segment tables will identify and assess the issue and the "scope of work" aimed at issuing their report on Sunday morning. Table Exercise #2: Developing the SolutionSaturday, August 04, 2001 Groups will develop a plan to address their issue with a focus on new roles in the Cabinet, new ways of communication and how to further the effective use of technology to support learning and teaching. Each group will prepare a report to be presented to the full seminar on Sunday morning. |
