Virtual Organizations in Higher EducationSession DetailsTuesday, February 24, 2009 4:45 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Hidalgo Ballroom A-C Session Type: Lightning Round Speaker(s)
AbstractVirtual organizations are a unique set of learning tools designed to teach and assess the problem-solving skills necessary for success. They bring theory to life by allowing students to apply theories in realistic settings with realistic data to solve real-world problems. To solve the problem, students must analyze the information within the virtual environment. They will have access to all information, even sensitive and confidential information. This session will demonstrate the use of virtual organizations as incorporated in the curriculum for institutions of higher education. |
