Abstract

The University of Alabama at Birmingham will discuss its effort to find new tools to improve IT efficiency and enhance e-mail and collaboration for students, faculty, and staff. Key goals were to provide users on different desktop platforms with unified calendars, event publishing, document sharing, and mobility while reducing total cost of ownership and supporting maintenance of legacy platforms. This presentation will dive deep into the decision-making process and how it benefits all users and stakeholders.
