Abstract

This session outlines a shift of thinking from "if" to "when," and how that affects disaster preparedness. We'll compare a more traditional approach with the concept of "organizational resilience," which is a different perspective from business continuity/disaster recovery planning. Resilience shifts the emphasis toward the need for the flexibility of daily operations rather than on recovery.
