Abstract

Three-fourths of successful system attacks enter through defects in Web application code. A profound lack of education is apparent in the risks posed by insecure applications. This session discusses application vulnerabilities and why it is imperative to implement initiatives in research, administration, and the classroom to address secure application development based on underlying methodologies.
