Abstract

Virtualization has crept into the corners of every organization while the security team wasn't looking. Now many groups are attempting to standardize those backroom deployments and are having to answer long-delayed questions about how virtualization fits into, or changes, their security architectures. This presentation will survey different types of virtualization technologies, identify threats to your virtual infrastructure, outline organizational challenges posed by the standardization process, and recommend best practices.
