Abstract

This session will explore the challenge of transitioning into a director/leader role. What are some of the key activities and questions you need to think about? How do you discover what is expected of you—by the institution, your boss, key players on campus, and your staff? What do you need to know about the current environment in order to effect long-term meaningful change? This session will discuss these issues and begin a dialogue of ideas and strategies to address them that will be continued throughout the workshop.
