Toward an Integrated Course Materials Life Cycle: From Creation to ArchivesSession DetailsTuesday, August 08, 2006 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Kearns Room (Second Floor, Conference Center) Session Type: Discussion Session Speaker(s)
AbstractGrowing interest in OpenCourseWare, Sakai, Moodle, and other such initiatives, as well as the increased need to better manage course materials, has sparked discussion on the need for an integrated course materials life cycle, defined as creation through teaching through publication and/or long-term archival of course content. This session will moderate a conversation about the experiences and lessons learned and the strategic decision drivers for the future, as well as introduce findings on this topic from recent studies. |
