*Your conference registration includes Tuesday opening reception in exhibit hall, Wednesday and Thursday lunches, Thursday evening special event, Wednesday-Friday conference sessions and coffee breaks, and entrance to the exhibit hall. **You must register and pay an additional fee for preconference seminars and tours. ***Exhibit hall staff registering on site will be subject to a $45 charge. Payment and Cancellation PoliciesPayment for the full amount of the registration fee must be made by the first day of the conference. You may pay by credit card or supply a purchase order number along with a credit card guarantee payment. A purchase order does not constitute payment, and all outstanding purchase orders must be satisfied either by check or credit card before the first day of the conference. A credit card used as a guarantee will not be charged without prior notification. Due to limited space in the preconference seminars, we cannot ensure your space until we have received payment. Cancellations postmarked or received on or before September 8, 2009 are entitled to a full refund. Cancellations received between September 9 and October 12, 2009, are entitled to a refund minus a $100 processing fee for conference registrations and a $50 processing fee for preconference seminar registrations. If you cancel after October 12, 2009, you will receive no refund. If you have not paid by another means, your credit card will be charged the cost of registration. You may pay by credit card or by supplying a purchase order number along with a credit card for payment guarantee. A purchase order does not constitute payment, and all outstanding purchase orders must be satisfied either by check or credit card. A credit card used as a guarantee will not be charged without prior notification and only if no other means of payment is received. Media RepresentativesThe EDUCAUSE Annual Conference brings together IT leaders and professionals in higher education, vendors who offer products and services to this market, and media representatives who cover the sector. Representatives of print and electronic media focusing on information technology and higher education with plans to cover EDUCAUSE 2009 may request complimentary media credentials for registration. NOTE: Only two complimentary registrations per publication/organization will be allowed, regardless of an individual’s affiliation or place of employment. Complimentary registration covers only the conference proper and does not include preconference seminars, which have separate registration fees. Audio/Videotaping, Digital Recording, and PhotographyBecause all presentations and associated materials are the speakers’ intellectual property, please obtain the speakers' permission to record their session or activity in any medium. Recording for commercial purposes is allowed only with prior permission from both EDUCAUSE and the speakers. EDUCAUSE reserves the right to ask any attendee to move within or to leave a session venue if their use of technology is disruptive to speakers or other attendees. Note that by attending the conference, attendees have agreed to the terms of the EDUCAUSE Image/Audio/Video Release Form, which allows images, audio, and video recorded on site to be used for educational and promotional purposes.
