Abstract

Colleges and universities have received a lot of unwanted news coverage in the past year as the result of privacy and security breaches. New privacy laws at the state and federal level are increasing the responsibilities and the risks for higher education, yet campuses seem to face special challenges in protecting the personal information of students, faculty and staff.
