Proposal Preparation Checklist

Before starting the proposal submission process, be sure you have completed these steps and have the necessary information ready to submit your proposal.

Please prepare the text for your proposal in a word processing document and paste it into the form while submitting your proposal. You will not be able to save your proposal and return to it later.

Create your EDUCAUSE profile

If this is the first time you are completing your profile, please provide a minimum 100-word bio and link to a professional URL. This could be a personal web page or your unit/department web page.

If you already have a profile, please be sure it is up to date.

Note: It may take up to 72 hours to generate new profiles or changes to existing ones. This will not affect your ability to submit a proposal. However, remember that your profile information will be helpful to reviewers to understand your qualifications.

Explore the Tips for Successful Proposals page.
Examine the Track Descriptions and Suggested Topics page to select up to two tracks for which your topic is most applicable.
Preview the submission form to identify required information and word limits for each section.
