Abstract

This session demonstrates the pedagogical use of XML and Text Encoding Initiative technologies in teaching an advanced French literature course, in which students are assigned a collective term project to create a digital critical edition of an unpublished 18th-century French manuscript according to the TEI Guidelines, created by Text Encoding Initiative Consortium.
