Abstract

As information technology staff aspire to higher levels including supervisory or management positions within their institutions, a fundamental understanding of the business and finance side of IT and in higher education is a much-needed skill. Methods to obtain these skills and understand why the business of IT is important to the mission of the institution will be explored.
