Abstract

Let the Podsquad show you how to deliver portable learning modules by creating podcasts containing the rich media elements that enhance student learning. Podcasts are relatively easy to create and can be downloaded to students’ computers or MP3 players. In this highly interactive session, members of the University of Tennessee’s Innovative Technology Center “Podsquad” and the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative (ELI) will demonstrate the design and assembly of a “Mobile Podcasting Studio,” provide an overview of UT’s faculty development and training process, and give teams of participants the opportunity to use the Mobile Podcasting Studio components to create both an audio and a video podcast.
