Summary

Your host, Steve Worona, will be joined by Michael Griego, and the topic will be "Wireless Security with 802.1x."

The 802.1x standard has recently become a viable option for providing true wireless network security. When deployed properly, 802.1x can authenticate wireless users and provide robust over-the-air encryption. This presentation will outline the journey The University of Texas at Dallas embarked on during the deployment of 802.1x. It will also touch on future issues related to wireless and wired authentication and accounting using 802.1x.
