Hotel Accommodations

The Omni Hotel at CNN Center is currently sold out during the ELI meeting dates. We suggest the following hotel if you are still in need of accommodations while attending the ELI Annual Meeting in Atlanta. Please call the hotel directly to make your room reservations.

We have secured a small room block at the Embassy Suites for $209/single and $229/double plus taxes. (Room rate includes breakfast and afternoon snacks.) Please refer to the ELI Meeting when making your reservation. This block is on a first-come, first-served basis. Room block deadline is January 4, 2007.

We have reserved a limited number of rooms at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center. Room reservations should be made directly with Omni by calling (404) 659-0000. Please refer to the EDUCAUSE Learning Imitative (ELI) Annual Meeting when making your room reservation and reserve by January 4, 2007, to secure the special rate above. Reservations received after this date will be accepted on a space available basis only.

Hotel Cancellation Policy: Individual reservations must be canceled at least 72 hours in advance to avoid the cancellation fee of one night's room and tax.

The Omni Hotel at CNN Center is located close to many Atlanta attractions, including the Centennial Olympic Park, the state capitol, the state aquarium, and the World of Coca Cola Museum, to name just a few. For more information, please visit the Omni Hotel's Atlanta Visitor Information page.

Air and Ground Transportation

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport - The Atlanta airport is located approximately 12 miles from the Omni hotel. For information, including ground transportation options, please see the airport's Web site.

Shuttle - The Omni does not offer a shuttle service to/from the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. However, The Atlanta Link does offer service to the hotel. The cost is $16.50/one way, per person or $29/roundtrip. Upon arrival, please collect your baggage and proceed outside to a ground transportation information center at the top of the escalators in the Arrivals Lobby of the airport. Link vehicles are located in the Ground Transportation Area, section D (formerly F) stalls 12-15. Shuttles depart approximately every 15 minutes. While you do not need a reservation to travel from the airport to the Omni, you MUST reserve a seat on a return shuttle to the airport with The Atlanta Link. Taxi - The cost is approximately $20. There is a $2 additional per person charge.

Parking - The Omni Hotel at CNN Center has valet parking only. The current rate for valet parking is $22/per night with in and out privileges. (This rate is subject to change without notice.)
