AbstractOrganizations live in a constantly changing environment. Since organizations are made up of people, the "supply side" of our services is also changing as people learn new things or leave the organization. Whether we function in a competitive private market or a public service environment, our duties, clients, and the demands on our services are constantly changing. It is certainly hard to argue against the proposition that change is constant! Many times, though, we write policies, train people, and make organizational plans as if nothing will change. Most of our efforts are focused on how to provide services in a consistent, logical, and quality-oriented fashion. The challenge becomes how to incorporate responsive change in our organizations to the changes in our operating world. Available Resources
