Tuesday, February 15, 2011
3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Seton Hall University has been a ubiquitous computing campus for over a decade. Support for mobile technologies is a strategic objective for the institution and builds on the university's successful leadership in technology innovation to enhance our learning environments and the university community. This session will introduce the SHUmobile project (Seton Hall University Mobile), which targets three main goals: enrich teaching and learning through the unique features of smartphones; develop a mobile application that provides access to critical academic and administrative information; and explore the impact of mobile technologies on students, community, and campus life.
