Seton Hall University has been a ubiquitous computing campus for over a decade. Support for mobile technologies is a strategic objective for the institution and builds on the university's successful leadership in technology innovation to enhance our learning environments and the university community. This session will introduce the SHUmobile project (Seton Hall University Mobile), which targets three main goals: enrich teaching and learning through the unique features of smartphones; develop a mobile application that provides access to critical academic and administrative information; and explore the impact of mobile technologies on students, community, and campus life.

Learning Objectives
* Describe the evolution of mobile technologies and its impact on higher education.
Identify pedagogical uses of mobile technologies to support teaching and learning.
* Understand technology support needs of faculty and students when integrating academic uses of mobile technologies.
* Generalize community support apps and creation of mobile site to other institutions.
* Locate existing resources to support mobile initiatives (Blackboard Mobile Learn).
