Abstract

Although faculty and students are increasingly interested in using research tools like Zotero and Google Docs, they can be overwhelmed by identifying which best serve their needs. Enter DiRT (Digital Research Tools), a wiki that catalogs and reviews educational software. This session will explore the significance of digital research tools, discuss why a wiki is an appropriate medium for our work, and describe how contributors from different institutions and disciplines are coming together to build a resource that has been hailed for providing "continuing value to researchers at many levels-students, instructors, and librarians" (EduResources).
