Abstract

New media literacy and multimedia authoring skills are increasingly needed and sometimes required across the curriculum. Net Gen students may be technically savvy, but their multimedia skills are uneven. This presentation will discuss a for-credit, residence-based course designed at Stanford University to support new academic requirements and student needs for media literacy.
