Abstract

A "build it and they will come" approach to many university digitization initiatives has precluded systematic investigations of the actual demand for these resources. This session will discuss the results of a two-year project at UC Berkeley that surveyed undergraduate educators in the humanities and social sciences about their reasons for use and nonuse of the myriad digital resources available to them.
