These analyses will identify key findings, as well as similarities and differences across different types of institutions. New features, enhancements, and new directions for the 2004 survey and service will be discussed. Finally, a discussion period will conclude this session to understand concerns and issues from the audience.

The Campus Computing Project will present data from the 2003 survey on the role of information technology in American higher education. Key topics include user support issues, e-commerce, wireless networks, strategic and financial planning for IT, instructional integration of information technology, campus IT standards, campus portal plans, Web site services, and managing spam on campus networks, plus new national data about ERP planning and implementation efforts. This session will also include a presentation summarizing data from the Asian Campus Computing Survey, which includes universities in China, Hong Kong, Japan, and other countries in Asia.
