Abstract
This session will highlight resources, tools, and best practices for advancing a privacy agenda in the academy. The seminar will provide an overview of the legal requirements for privacy at educational institutions and will offer practical insights and suggestions for establishing an organizational framework that leverages building collaboration, developing privacy policies and notices of fair information practices, conducting privacy impact assessments, contracting with third parties to handle private data, and delivering awareness and educational messages.
