Abstract

This group is devoted to solution-independent Web portal technology in higher education. The meeting will focus on such issues as Internet strategies involved in deciding to move forward with a portal. Discussion will also identify what vendors, open-source products, and homegrown solutions work best and how to integrate them with back-end systems (Blackboard, SunGard/WebCT, PeopleSoft).
