Abstract

From wireless laptops for in-class use to mobile laptops, tablets, and handheld devices for field-based data collection, the Wireless Instructional Initiatives project at the University of Tennessee has nurtured and supported the development of "nomadic learning communities" for the past four years. We will report the past and imagine the future.
