Abstract

This Constituent Group session will provide a forum for the discussion of key issues relating to information technologies. Topics will range from learner-centered principles to technology selection, and the use of information technology to enhance teaching and learning. Instructional technology combines an understanding of pedagogy and technology, and instructional technologists are a diverse group encompassing faculty, staff, and even students, whose professional backgrounds include technologists and subject experts, as well as education and learning theorists. The field is rapidly changing and we invite you to join in this first meeting of the Instructional Technologies Constituent Group.
