Abstract

To get maximum educational value from a course management system, it is essential to collect data on how and why the system is being used, at what cost (including hidden costs), and with what outcomes. This workshop will guide participants through the design of several complementary studies. To ensure the use of evaluation findings, the workshop will also describe strategies for involving key constituencies in the process.
