Abstract

Hybrid courses invite faculty to teach in new ways. We will describe a successful hybrid course faculty development program that engages instructors in course redesign and prepares them to teach hybrid courses. We will also discuss the use of active pedagogy in hybrid courses and address student issues, assessment, and appropriate technology use.
