Abstract

By bringing laptop computers into traditional classroom spaces, students present new opportunities and challenges to faculty and current pedagogical approaches. Using hands-on examples, we will explore the practical and theoretical aspects of integrating student laptop initiatives and wireless networking to create academically challenging experiences.

PLEASE NOTE: This seminar requires every participant to bring a laptop with 802.11b wireless capability. If there are issues that prevent you from bringing a laptop, please write to Victoria Fanning at vfanning@educause.edu.
