Abstract

Moving to a model of distributed control of authorization information is not just a technology exercise. As with any tools put in the hands of users, sufficient preparation and care must be taken to plan how these facilities will be used and how they will be supported. There are many factors to consider-stakeholder involvement, governance, and ownership, for both IT and business leadership. In an open discussion, we will consider strategies for a realistic approach to introducing these capabilities. We will share roadmaps and hear how others have struggled and succeeded along this path.
